    99 Hunter Guide - Astro

Bonus Exp Well of experience You can obtain 2x experience rates by filling the Well of Experience. It costs 7.5m to fill it but multiple people can contribute to cover this cost. You can donate to the well by typing ::well, it lasts for 2 hours before needing to be refilled. Baby Chinchompa Pet You have a 1/1000 chance of receiving a baby chinchompa whilst training hunter. Once obtained, if you use it whilst hunting it will provide a 50% boost in experience. Hunting Master Aleck is the hunter skill master who will sell you everything you need to achieve 99 hunter. He is at all 3 teleport locations and sells bird snares, box traps, butterfly nets, impling jars, and the Larupia outfit. This outfit is not needed to hunt efficiently but can be worn if desired. Locations There are 3 main locations in which you can train hunter however you will likely only use 2 of these 3. They are as follows: Puro Puro Karamja / Kharazi Jungle Ape Atoll Training There are 3 separate ways to train hunter in Zamorak. Bird Snaring, Impling Hunting, and Box trapping. Bird Snaring is only an early level method to training hunter while box trapping is only mid to late level training as you can't even place a box trap down until 60 hunter. I will now go method by method with exp rates for all catches and then at the end do a quick 1-99 roll up of the fastest methods to train. DISCLAIMER There is currently an issue with running and hunting, in order to avoid graphically glitching your character, turn your run energy off when hunting on Zamorak. If you experience an issue or forget to turn your run off, just relog to fix it. Exp rates are as follows: ::sdi Grenwall Impling Level 77 required to catch Realism - 5,863xp Ironman - 29,315xp Knight - 293,150xp Kingly Impling Level 91 required to catch Realism - 6,787xp Ironman - 33,935xp Knight - 339,350xp ::edi Grenwall Impling Level 77 required to catch Realism - 5,596xp Ironman - 27,980xp Knight - 279,800xp Kingly Impling Level 91 required to catch Realism - 6,478xp Ironman - 32,390xp Knight - 323,900xp Box Trapping Although grey chinchompas only require level 53 hunter to catch you cannot place a box trap down until you reach level 60 hunter. Grey Chincompas Level 53 (60) required to catch Realism - 1,990xp Ironman - 9,950xp Knight - 99,500xp Red Chincompas Level 63 required to catch Realism - 2,750xp Ironman - 13,750xp Knight - 137,500xp Quick 1-99 Rundown Continuously do Puro Puro hunting the 3 best implings you can catch until level 60/63. Once you reach level 60 or 63 it is time to start box trapping. Red chins is the way to go from 63-99 as you can place 4 traps at a time and the catch rate is very frequent. You almost always have a box ready by the time the rest are placed down. Alternatively at level 91 hunter you can catch kingly and grenwall implings if you are a super donator or higher. Their is an achievement to catch kingly implings so you can do that while training to 99 as well. Thank you for reading my guide. I hope this helps out anyone looking to train hunter! Feedback is always appreciate in the comments below. Happy Hunting!

    99 Mining Guide - Astro

Bonus Experience Well of experience You can obtain 2x experience rates by filling the Well of Experience. It costs 7.5m to fill it but multiple people can contribute to cover this cost. You can donate to the well by typing ::well, it lasts for 2 hours before needing to be refilled. Rock Golem You have a 1/1000 chance to receive the Rock Golem pet when mining. Once obtained, if you use it whilst mining it will provide a 50% boost in experience. Miner Magnus Magnus is the man mining at the skill teleport. He will sell you pickaxe's from bronze - rune. Magnus can also tell you where and when the shooting star will fall which is very useful for the best exp training in mining. Locations Mining Teleport: Living Rock Caverns: You can get here by clicking on dungeons teleports and then living rock caverns. Mine the living rock remains scattered around the cave. Wilderness Volcano You can get here by clicking on wilderness teleports and then bounty hunter. Run west and enter the cave entrance, continue west to the rune ore rocks. Training There are 2 ways to train mining. You can either mine ores or you can mine the crashed star when it lands. There is a guide that goes over all locations that I will link here. Crashed stars is the best way to train mining however you will need ores for achievements. Pickaxes Bronze and Iron Pickaxe - Level 1 Steel Pickaxe - Level 6 mining, Level 5 Attack to wield Mithril Pickaxe - Level 21 Mining, Level 20 Attack to wield Adamant Pickaxe - Level 31 Mining, Level 30 Attack to wield Rune Pickaxe - Level 41 Mining, Level 40 Attack to wield Dragon Pickaxe and Dragon Pickaxe (or) - Level 61 Mining, Level 60 Attack to wield Ores at Mining Teleport Copper and Tin Ore Level 1 Realism - 175xp Ironman- 875xp Knight - 8,750xp Iron Ore Level 15 Realism - 350xp Ironman - 1,750xp Knight - 17,500xp Silver Ore Level 20 Realism - 400xp Ironman - 2,000xp Knight - 20,000xp Coal Ore Level 30 Realism - 500xp Ironman - 2,500xp Knight - 25,000xp Gold Ore Level 40 Realism - 600xp Ironman - 3,000xp Knight - 30,000xp Mithril Ore Level 55 Realism - 800xp Ironman - 4,000xp Knight - 40,000xp Adamantite Ore Level 70 Realism - 950xp Ironman - 4,750xp Knight - 47,500xp Ores at Donator Island Adamantite Ore Level 70 Realism - 997xp Ironman - 4,985xp Knight - 49,850xp Runite Ore Level 85 Realism - 1,312xp Ironman - 6,560xp Knight - 65,600xp Ores at Super Donator Island Coal Ore Level 30 Realism - 600xp Ironman - 3,000xp Knight - 30,000xp Gold Ore Level 40 Realism - 720xp Ironman - 3,600xp Knight - 36,000xp Mithril Ore Level 55 Realism - 960xp Ironman - 4,800xp Knight - 48,000xp Adamantite Ore Level 70 Realism - 1,140xp Ironman - 5,700xp Knight - 57,000xp Runite Ore Level 85 Realism - 1,500xp Ironman - 7,500xp Knight - 75,000xp Additional Mining Pure Essence Level 1 Realism - 50xp Ironman - 250xp Knight - 2,500xp Quick 1-99 Rundown (ore method) 1-15 : copper / tin ore 15-30 : iron ore 30-55 : coal ore 55-70 : mithril ore 70-80 : adamantite ore 80-99 : concentrated coal and gold at Living Rock Caverns I recommend this path even if you are a donator however if you wish to mine addy and rune rocks for the achievements you can do that as well. Concentrated coal and gold is by far the fastest and most afk method to train mining through ores. Thank you for reading my guide. I hope this helps out anyone looking to train mining! 99 Smithing Guide - Astro

Welcome to my 99 smithing guide. This guide will go over xp per bar as well as how much xp you receive from smithing the bars. I will also put in some notes on how to achieve the higher tier bars at a more consistent rate than making them yourself. All xp rates shown are without double xp activated. All smithing rates are based off using 1 bar at a time ie. knives, arrowheads. If you choose to make platebodies, multiply the xp by 5 to get the accurate amount. Level 1 - 15 : Bronze bars Smelting the bar: Realism - 62xp Ironman - 310xp Knight - 3,100xp Smithing the bar: Realism - 125xp Ironman - 625xp Knight - 6,250xp Level 15 - 30 : Iron Bars Smelting the bar: Realism - 125xp Ironman - 625xp Knight - 6,250xp Smithing the bar: Realism - 250xp Ironman - 1,250xp Knight - 12,500xp Level 30 - 50 : Steel Bars Smelting the bar: Realism - 175xp Ironman - 875xp Knight - 8,750xp Smithing the bar: Realism - 375xp Ironman - 1,875xp Knight - 18,750xp Level 50 - 70 : Mithril Bars Smelting the bar: Realism - 300xp Ironman - 1,500xp Knight - 15,000xp Smithing the bar: Realism - 500xp Ironman - 2,500xp Knight - 25,000xp Level 70 - 85 : Adamantite Bars Smelting the bar: Realism - 375xp Ironman - 1,875xp Knight - 18,750xp Smithing the bar: Realism - 625xp Ironman - 3,125xp Knight - 31,250xp Level 85 - 99 : Runite Bars Smelting the bar: Realism - 500xp Ironman - 2,500xp Knight - 25,000xp Smithing the bar: Realism - 750xp Ironman - 3,750xp Knight - 37,500xp I recommend making platebodies for every bar type until you can make the next bar platebody, ie. mithril platebodies require level 68 smithing to make, adamant platebodies require 88 smithing. Even though you can start smithing adamant at level 70 its more time efficient to train by smithing platebodies. Additional Smithing information I skipped over gold bars earlier because they aren't the best way to train smithing, although they have higher smelt xp rates than steel bars, you cannot smith them into anything. Super Donator Island gives a 20% xp increase when skilling there. This can be used for both the smelting and smithing portion of the skill. Level 40 : Gold Bars Gold Bar Smelting: Realism - 225xp Ironman - 1,125xp Knight - 11,250xp Thank you everyone, I hope this guide helps you achieve your smithing dreams. Feedback is appreciated in the comments. Good luck!

    Wilderness Bosses

Please note: The Wilderness is a dangerous player versus player zone; Items are lost on death, you will protect 3 items if unskulled (4 with a protect item prayer active), and you cannot teleport above level 20 without the use of a charged Amulet of Glory (at 30) or Wilderness Obelisk (Wilderness Level 13, 18, 27, 35, 44 and 50 respectively). Expect to be attacked by other players and don't bring anything you're not willing to lose. Important notes: Before we begin, it's important to remember to check this command in-game: ::droprate Set up your inventory and equipment accordingly if you want to maximise drop rate: You will lose DPS (Damage per Second) not using Ring of Recoil or an Eye Ring. Be wary that attacking another player will change your status to "Skulled", meaning you will have a Skull icon above your head and automatically protect 0 items. Untradeable items are not lost on death, they can be bought back for 1,000,000 GP each from Grim Reaper north of Edgeville bank. For bosses that poison you, you can wear a Serpentine Helm to negate it, or use Antipoison potions. You can use the Wilderness population counter in quest tab, and your bounty hunter interface to determine how safe you are however be aware that people who aren't your target can still attack you. You should find the best way to bank relative to the boss and determine ways you can escape PKers (Player Killers) before you can be confident. Safespotting is against the rules. You can upgrade the load-outs if you're comfortable with risking your items. 99 Crafting Guide - Astro

Hello everyone, welcome to my 1-99 crafting guide. In this guide I will be going over cutting gems as well as dhide crafting. This guide will show the fastest and easiest ways to train. I will be giving the xp rates of knights and ironman however I will only explain how many per level for realism as they take the most to level. Please Enjoy the Guide Gem Cutting The easiest way to get gems is to buy them from the master crafter inside the crafting guild. For ironman or anyone who would like to just save money, Glacors are excellent droppers of noted gems and are relatively easy to kill. You can also steal from the gem stall in Ardougne to receive a fair amount of gems as well as train thieving, however 75 thieving is required in order to steal from this stall. Opal - Level 1 Required Knight - 7,500xp Ironman - 750xp Realism - 150xp It will take 13 opals without double xp to reach level 13 Crafting. Jade - Level 13 Required Knight - 10,000xp Ironman - 1,000xp Realism - 200xp It will take 5 jades without double xp to reach level 16 Crafting. Red Topaz - Level 16 Required Knight - 12,500xp Ironman - 1,250xp Realism - 250xp It will take 7 red topaz without double xp to reach level 20 Crafting. Sapphire - Level 20 Required Knight - 25,000xp Ironman - 2,500xp Realism - 500xp It will take 11 sapphires without double xp to reach level 27 Crafting. Emerald - Level 27 Required Knight - 33,750xp Ironman - 3,375xp Realism - 675xp It will take 16 emeralds without double xp to reach level 34 Crafting. Ruby - Level 34 Required Knight - 42,500xp Ironman - 4,250xp Realism - 850xp It will take 36 rubies without double xp to reach level 43 Crafting. Diamond - Level 43 Required Knight - 53,750xp Ironman - 5,375xp Realism - 1,075xp It will take 109 diamonds without double xp to reach level 55 Crafting. Dragonstone - Level 55 Required Knight - 68,750xp Ironman - 6,875xp Realism - 1,375xp It will take 9,359 dragonstones to reach level 99 Crafting. The only other gem you can cut after dragonstones are onyx's however this is not a feasible method to train your crafting. Dragonhide Crafting To begin Dragonhide crafting you will need to collect a decent amount of untanned dragonhides from either killing the colored dragons or killing Vorkath who drops noted hides. You will need a needle and some thread to begin stitching your armor pieces together. All Dragonhide require 20gp per hide to be tanned. The Master Crafter at the crafting guide can tan the hides for you by right click him and selecting which hide you want tanned. The most efficient use of your time when dragonhide crafting requires you to make the bodies and not the vambraces or chaps. With this in mind, I will only be showing the xp rates for the bodies. Green Dragonhide - Level 63 Required Knight - 93,000xp Ironman - 9,300xp Realism - 1,860xp It will take 240 Green D'hide Bodies without double xp to reach level 71 Crafting. This is a total of 720 Green Dragonleather. Blue Dragonhide - Level 71 Required Knight - 105,000xp Ironman - 10,500xp Realism - 2,100xp It will take 315 Blue D'hide Bodies without double xp to reach level 77 Crafting. This is a total of 945 Blue Dragonleather. Red Dragonhide - Level 77 Required Knight - 117,000xp Ironman - 11,700xp Realism - 2,340xp It will take 631 Red D'hide Bodies without double xp to reach level 84 Crafting. This is a total of 1893 Red Dragonleather. Black Dragonhide - Level 84 Required Knight - 129,000xp Ironman - 12,900xp Realism - 2,580xp It will take 3,909 Black D'hide Bodies without double xp to reach level 99 Crafting. This is a total of 11,727 Black Dragonleather. Thank you, I hope this guide helps you. Feedback is appreciated in the comments ❤️

    Range Weapon Tier List

Range Weapon Tier List This guide is meant for new players and experienced players to know what the progression levels are for range weapons and what to strive for next. These weapons are judged on stats as well as functionality. There are 8 main weapons that I am going to be showing in this guide as well as going over the different bolt types and their special attack abilities. Tier List: 8. Dark Bow - Other than being a spec weapon for pking I would not recommend using this bow for anything. The D Bow shoots 2 arrows at a time rather than the single arrow/bolt of every other weapon making it unique in that aspect. 7. Dragonbone Crossbow - As it stands right now this weapon is not as good as it should be especially considering how rare it is to get. You can get this as a 1/1k drop from Blood Reaver in the wildy. 6. Karil's Crossbow - A good early game range weapon to strive for, the Karil's xbow shoots fast and has decent accuracy and damage. Can be obtained by killing the Karil the Tainted barrows brother. 5. Armadyl Crossbow - It currently has the same stats as a chaotic crossbow, however due to the accessibility of the ACB vs the CCB, I had to rate it below the CCB. It is not a bad xbow to use, it's just way more practical to get the CCB. Obtained from Commander Zilyana. 4. Chaotic Crossbow - Requiring 200k dung tokens to achieve, the CCB is probably your go to starting range weapon. It has good accuracy and is a protected item on death as it is untradable making it safe to take in the wildy as well. 3. Zaryte Bow - I know a lot of people are probably expecting the Blowpipe to be here but hear me out. The Zaryte while yes requiring no ammuntion to attack is really only useful when pking people. It has decent damage rates against bosses but is easily outmatched by the BP in damage per second and damage over time rates. The Zaryte Bow is a great weapon to use, however with the lower DPS and DOT rates as well as being a drop from Nex, I had to rate it here at 3. 2. Toxic Blowpipe - At the runner up spot, the BP is a solid weapon to use at any boss that has an amazing special attack should you take damage while bossing. The BP special attack will heal you 50% of the damage you deal while giving you a 50% damage increase for that attack. It is similar to the SGS special. The BP also has the chance to inflict venom on the monster or player you are attacking which just makes getting kills that much quicker with the extra damage being applied. One thing to note about the BP is that the strength of your hits all depends on the type of darts you have inside. Obtained as a Tanzanite Fang from Zulrah 1. Twisted Bow - To no one's surprise, the Twisted Bow comes in at #1 being an incredibly good weapon to use anywhere. The twisted bow has an unseen damage buff making it the hardest hitting range weapon in the game by far. At the time of making this guide the max special attack I hit was a 115-113 combo. The Twisted Bow can be obtained from golden scratchers or as a super rare drop from CoS raids. Bolt and their Specials Ruby Bolts (e) - Blood Forfeit (When activated, damage dealt to the target will be 20% of their current hitpoints, IE. if you spec Nex when she is at 2000 health, you will hit a 400. The special attack will cost you 10% of your own hitpoints.) Diamond Bolts (e) - Armor Piercing (Increases the max hit or damage by 15% and ignores targets defenses. When the special attack is triggered it will always hit no matter what.) Dragon Bolts (e) - Dragon's Breath (This inflicts a dragonfire hit against your target dealing extra damage based on your visible range level * 20%. If you are boosted to 112 range the maximum bonus damage is 22. If your target is immune to dragon fire from drinking an antifire potion, the effect will not activate. Onyx Bolts (e) - Life Leech (This will deal 20% extra damage and heal you by 25% of the damage dealt. This special does not work on undead monsters as they have no "life" to leech. I hope this guide helps you understand the different bolts and weapons for range. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to message me on forums or in game. Happy Hunting ❤️

    Melee Weapons Tier List

Melee Weapons Tier list This guide is meant for new players and experienced players to know what the progression levels are for melee weapons and what to strive for next. These weapons are judged on stats as well as functionality. *Just a quick note, the Sir Owen's Longsword will not be in the stab section of this guide however I highly recommend all realism accounts get this weapon from the Pre-Scape Guide at home as soon as they can. It is the best weapon for new low level realisms to start training and even early level bossing. Crush Weapons 6. Dragon Warhammer : not only is it a very rare drop from Lizardman Shamans, but it also does now have very high strength or attack bonuses. The spec is good in terms of lowering a target's defense however the Statius Warhammer does that and some and is currently cheaper. Do not recommend using the DWH for anything other than a spec weapon for bosses unless you have a SWH. 5. Drygore Mace : The Drygore Mace by itself is not a good weapon to attack with, its slow and weaker than a chaotic however its accuracy is better. The mace can be obtained from the Donor Point Store II for 50 points or from Skotizo. 4. Statius Warhammer : Ahead of the Drygore only because of its special attack, I do not recommend using the SWH as a primary weapon of attack when training or bossing. This weapon should be used solely for its special attack which does 50% increased damage. The SWH can be obtained from killing any level revanant or as a random reward from FFA minigame. 3. Chaotic Maul : Being the easiest weapon to obtain on this list by only need to achieve 200k dung tokens, the chaotic maul is a solid and affordable choice for all players to achieve. It has great stats at tier 80 and can be a good weapon to choose to train with if you prefer the crush style weapons. 2. Elder Maul : The Elder Maul is one of the 3 rare weapons from raids that can be obtained. You can also get the Maul as a very rare drop from Spino in the Wilderness. It has slightly better stats than the chaotic maul and is a tier 75 weapon. Seeing how rare the drop is to get I wouldn't consider this a training worthy weapon however it is a solid choice for high hit pk KO's or bossing. 1. Dual Drygore Maces : No surprise here, drygores are the supreme melee weapons currently in the game. Expect to see this trend continue for the rest of the list as well. Being very hard to achieve without donating however they will take some time to acquire. A set of Drygores will normally run you around 900m - 1b currently, however they can both be obtained as drops from Skotizo. Slash Weapons Currently there are 12 Slash weapons that I will be evaluating for this list however I will only show pictures for the top 5 and go into detail about those. I will list the other 7 however so everyone can see the order of progression for their knowledge and understanding. 12. Korasi : Weak stats and medium attack speed, do not recommend using. 11. Zamorak Godsword : Painful to obtain the hilt drop and all 3 blade pieces, slow attack style and bad spec. 10. Saradomin Godsword : Spec is decent however it takes a while to achieve the completed godsword and is slow attacking. Weakest GS stats wise as well 9. Bandos Godsword : Spec is good as it lowers targets defense however I would only use this weapon for that purpose and nothing else. 8. Abyssal Whip : 85 slayer to kill abyssal demons, the whip is the staple weapon of training combat in RS. Solid choice just low stats. Good starter weapon however to strive for. 7. Armadyl Godsword : Solid Pking weapon as well as good stats. Slow attacking however its pking ability and special attack make it #7 6. Vine Whip : Slightly stronger than the regular whip the vine whip is essentially an upgrade to your starter weapon that can be used for bossing and pking as seen fit. Very solid weapon choice 5. Vesta Longsword : Not too hard to obtain from revanants the VLS special attack makes it a potent pking spec weapon, It has great stats and can hit very well. 4. Kraken Whip : Requiring both a regular whip as well as a kraken tentacle from the cave Kraken boss, this whip is slightly stronger than the Vine Whip however what makes this weapon good is for pking/antipking. The special attack on this weapon will freeze your target for 5 seconds, allowing you to escape easier. It is a great weapon to train and boss with as well due to it's increased stats from the base whip. 3. Chaotic Longsword : Requiring 200k dung tokens, the CLS is an amazing slash weapon to use for both training and pking. It counts as an untradable item for pking thus giving the chance for a good spec weapon without the risk of losing your primary weapon. 2. Drygore Longsword : Obtained from Skotizo, the Drygore LS is the best slash weapon in the game currently. Great stats on the weapon. 1. Dual Drygore Longswords : Again Drygores are the best melee weapons in the game. Both can be bought through the donor store or obtained from Skotizo as drops. Stab Weapons 5. Zamorakian Spear : Obtained from killing Zamorak in Godwars Dungeon, the Z Spear is really only used to kill the corporal beast. I would not recommend using this for anything other than that. 4. Vesta Spear : Obtained from revanants or as a rare reward from the FFA minigame. Again, just like the Z Spear, the V Spear is only used really to kill Corp. It has a much higher damage cap than the Z Spear does on Corp making it the Best in Slot for Corporal beast however I would not recommend using it for anything other than Corp. 3. Chaotic Rapier : Requiring 200k dung tokens just like its other chaotic counterparts, the rapier is often seen as the best Chaotic weapon to choose due to its fast attack speed. Being a free item this is a great weapon to strive for as a starter bossing weapon and pking weapon. 2. Drygore Rapier : The most popular and currently best in slow main hand melee weapon the drygore rapier is perfect for all of your bossing needs. It has great stats, fast attack speed, and can be paired with the offhand version for even better stats. 1. Dual Drygore Rapiers : The trend continues here with dual drygores being #1, you just can't beat them. Obtained from donor store or as a drop from Skotizo, these rapiers are the most popular choice for melee weapons in the game. Overall Top 5 Melee Weapons 5. Dual Drygore Longswords 4. Chaotic Rapier : I have this ahead of the longswords simply because of the attack speed of the weapon and the accessibility of the weapon. I cannot downgrade the superiority of Drygores however longswords are the worst of the 3 pairs and I would strongly recommend using a chaotic rapier over the longswords. 3. Dual Drygore Maces : with the same attack speed as rapiers currently this is where they rank, although their attack speed should not be this fast due to them being maces. The only reason they are not higher is because most bosses in Zamorak are weak to stab / slash and not crush which can cause them to be a little more inaccurate than rapiers. 2. Dual Drygore Rapiers 1. Drygore Rapier and Offhand Drygore Longsword : A huge advocate of the Dual Rapiers, I was surprised to see that when the off hand longsword is equipped your stats are actually better than when you use the pair. The offhand weapon does not attack or change the speed of attack for your main hand weapon so in order to receive the best statistical combo, this is the outcome. I hope this guide helps all of you out in some way or another. Big shoutout to @Gemini @b o n e @Jack and @Operative for helping me gather all of the weapons in order to make this guide. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to message me in game or on here. Happy Hunting ❤️

    Magic Weapons Tier List

Your complete guide to Magic Weapons This guide is meant for new players and experienced players to know what the progression levels are for magic weapons and what to strive for next. These weapons are judged on stats as well as functionality/ Tier list: 10. Polypore Staff - At the time of making this guide the polypore staff is just not a good weapon to use for magic. The polypore spell is weak and does not do enough damage to be considered anything higher than last. Obtained from Ganodermic beast 9. Ahrim's staff - A very good early game staff for new players to achieve. It has decent magic attack and damage bonus and provides a little defense stats as well. Obtained from the Ahrim's the Blighted Barrows Brother 8. Third Age Wand - One of the more difficult items to get on this list the 3a wand is more cosmetic than functional however it is not a bad magic weapon if you are lucky enough to pull it from the crystal key chest. 7. Trident of the Seas - The reason the trident ranks here is simply due to the fact that you can't spell select and must use the trident's build in spell. It has good stats however the spell is not very strong right now. Obtained by killing Kraken 6. Staff of the Dead - The reason staff of the dead ranks below the staff of light is solely based on the -1 prayer that the sotd has. It is a great weapon and relatively easy to obtain considering the difficulty of Kril (Zammy GWD). 5. Staff of Light - As said above, SOL ranks in at number 5 due to the lack of negative prayer bonus on the weapon, it has surprising high str bonus making it an excellent pking weapon as well as great for pvm and training. Obtained from Skotizo, Glod, Ice Strykeworms, Chamber of Stones raid. 4. Zuriel's Staff - An excellent weapon to obtain and not too difficult considering it is a 1/200 drop from low level revanants. Also surprisingly high strength bonus. 3. Trident of the Swamp - As I stated earlier, the only thing holding this weapon back from being great is the lack of damage from the spell itself. The trident has amazing stats and looks great. Need a regular trident of the seas and a magic fang from Zulrah in order to make it. 2. Toxic Staff of the Dead - The best staff in the game currently and a great weapon to pk with as it applies the venom. Need regular staff of the dead and a magic fang to make the weapon. 1. Kodai Wand - the best magic weapon in the game. In order to get it you can either kill Ord in the wilderness or you can try your luck at the Chamber of Stones custom raid. I hope this helps everyone and understanding where and how to progress in order to achieve their best in slot gear! If you have any questions or feel things should be rated differently please by all means comment below or message me in game. Happy Hunting ❤️
  9. Bonus exp Well of Experience You can obtain 2x exp by filling the Well of Experience. The well can be filled at any time by typing ::well and clicking on well of experience. It cost 7500k to fill the well completely and will last for 2 hours. Starting Out I recommend to start your prayer training by killing yaks while training combat at the early levels. You can either choose to bury the bones or use them on the altar at home. Once you are ready to begin buying bones or have gathered your own amount of bones, the fast xp will begin. First of all, the altar you will most likely be using is in the northern part of Edgeville (home) on the East wall of the General store Another location in which you can train prayer is at Ape Atoll. You will get slightly higher xp rates here however the run is a little farther. I have not done enough testing to see which one is better rates per hour however if you have access to ::bank, ape atoll is definitely the way to go. The altar and path is as follows: This is the Altar in which you would use the bones on, the Gorilla Statue. Alternatively, if you are a regular donator or higher you can use the altar at ::di. This altar gives the same xp rates as the one on ape atoll but has a bank very close to it. There are 3 main bones that you will likely be purchasing or gathering to use when training prayer. Those are as follows; (exp rates based on inactive well) Dragon Bones ~ 75k ea Burying: Knight - 36,000 xp ; Realism - 720 xp ; Ironman - 3,600 xp Altar at Home: Knight - 72,000 xp ; Realism - 1,440 xp ; Ironamn- 7,200 xp Altar at Ape Atoll / DI Altar: Knight - 75,600 xp ; Realism - 1,512 xp ; Ironman - 7,560 xp Dagganoth Bones ~ 125-150k ea Burying: Knight - 62,500 xp ; Realism - 1,250 xp ; Ironman - 6,250 xp Altar at Home: Knight - 125,000 xp ; Realism - 2,500 xp ; Ironman - 12,500 xp Altar at Ape Atoll / DI Altar: Knight - 131,250 xp ; Realism - 2,625 xp ; Ironman - 13,125 xp Frost Dragon Bones ~ 150k ea Burying: Knight - 90,000 xp ; Realism - 1,800 xp ; Ironman - 9,000 xp Altar at Home: Knight - 180,000 xp ; Realism - 3,600 xp ; Ironman - 18,000 xp Altar at Ape Atoll / DI Altar: Knight - 189,000 xp ; Realism - 3,780 xp ; Ironman - 18,900 xp GP per XP rates for Realism accounts: As of making this guide these are the rates with frost dragon bones being the best. Dragon bones 49.6 gp per xp and cost ~ 75k per bone Dagganoth bones 47.6 gp per xp and cost ~ 125k per bone Frost Dragon Bones 39.6 gp per xp ~ 150k per bone All there is to do now is get your bones and grind some xp! I hope this guide was helpful in anyway to you! Good Luck on your prayer grind!
  10. Bonus exp Well of Experience You can obtain 2x experience rates by filling the Well of Experience. It costs 7.5m to fill it but mulitple people can contribute to cover this cost. You can donate to the well by typing ::well, it lasts for 2 hours before needing to be refilled. Wilderness Resource Skilling Area This area is accessible by using the teleport on the last page of the Skilling Teleports. You can fish for Rocktails and Karambwans here and bonus exp is granted whilst training here. You will also obtain noted fish alongside regular fish. The regular fish can be noted by speaking with the NPC in the area. Heron Pet You have a 1/1000 chance of receiving a Heron pet whilst training fishing. Once obtained, if you use it whilst fishing it will provide a 50% boost in experience. Location The area to train fishing is accessible by using the Fishing teleport on Page 3 of the Skilling Teleports. Using this teleport will take you to Catherby which contains 8 different fishing locations and an NPC (Martin) which sells all the equipment you might need on your road to 99 fishing and beyond. The map below shows the locations of the fishing spots. 1: Net (small) and Bait fishing (Shrimp, Anchovies, Sardines and Herring) 2: Cage and Harpoon fishing (Lobsters, Tuna and Swordfish) 3: Net (big) and Harpoon fishing (Cod and Sharks) 4: Net (big) and Lure fishing (Monkfish, Karambwans, Manta Rays, Salmon and Trout) 5: Net (big) and Harpoon fishing (Cod and Sharks) 6: Cage and Harpoon fishing (Lobsters, Tuna and Swordfish) 7: Net (big) and Lure fishing (Monkfish, Karambwans, Manta Rays, Salmon and Trout) 8: Bait fishing (Rocktails) Experience Rates Shrimps Knight : 10,000 exp Realism : 200 exp Anchovies Knight : 20,000 exp Realism : 400 exp Lobster Knight : 45,000 exp Realism : 900 exp Tuna Knight : 50,000 exp Realism : 1,000 exp Swordfish Knight : 50,000 exp Realism : 1,000 exp Karambwan Knight : 52,500 exp Realism : 1,050 exp (see below) Shark Knight : 55,000 exp Realism : 1,100 exp Monkfish Knight : 60,000 exp Realism : 1,200 exp Manta Ray Knight : 65,000 exp Realism : 1,300 exp Rocktail Knight : 190,000 exp Realism : 3,800 exp (see below) Level Guide Level 1 - 35 Catch Shrimp/Anchovies Level 35 - 40 or 62 Catch Tuna at the harpoon and cage fishing spot At 40 you can either fish lobsters to 62 or you can continue to do harpoon fishing. I recommend just sticking to harpoon fishing. Level 62 - 76 Big Net fishing for monkfish / karambwans You will passively get both when big net fishing. Both of them are good xp however so it is not an issue. Level 76 - 99 Sharks will be the easiest way to get 99 from level 76. You can catch up to 550 an hour which is 660k xp an hour without any xp bonuses. At level 81 you can begin catching manta rays from the big net fishing spots. This will help if you are interested in comping in order to complete the achievement. ALTERNATIVE METHOD: At level 65 you can catch Karambwans at the wilderness resource area. With bonus lamp xp and well of xp on they are 9.6k ea for realism and 516k for knights! They are significantly better xp than any other regular fishing method however you risk the chance of being pked as you will be in deep wildy. At level 97 you can begin catching rocktails at the wilderness resource area as well which can net up to 22k xp for realism and 960k for knights! You will need minerals in order to fish for rocktails as well as a fly fishing rod. Minerals can be obtained by killing living rock creatures inside of the living rock caverns and harvesting their corpses. You can also obtain minerals by exchanging gold and coal ore + cash to Small Sacks located by the bank. Here is a small map of what LRC looks like This is Small Sacks Gold cost 5k per ore to change into minerals and coal cost 6.5k per as coal is more accessible. Here is a map of the Resource skilling area While gathering resources inside the skilling area ie. fish, ore, and logs, they will be noted. Sometimes you will receive an unnoted resource however the NPC located in the center can note the items for you so you can stay here as long as you'd like or feel safe to. And here are the spots to fish Rocktails as well as Karambwans And that's it! Congratulations on achieving 99 Fishing! I hope this guide helps you out. Lots of credit to @Lancelot for helping me with this
